Microsoft Teams now lets you create your own virtual background

For now only for Microsoft Teams Premium users

Microsoft has launched a useful innovation for its proprietary video conferencing service. Microsoft Teams users now have access to a tool that will allow them to update existing background images for video calls by adding their own edits.

The update is simply named: «Beautify your background». The developers note that the feature will allow users to «create a more personalized and attractive background by applying advanced effects».

This feature is now rolling out to both Windows and macOS computer users, but there is one major hurdle — Only Microsoft Teams Premium users will be able to access it.
