The car will be released at the end of the year
Jaguar Land Rover held its Investor Day, revealing that more than 38,000 customers have pre-ordered the all-electric version of the Range Rover. In February there were 16,000 people.
Jaguar Land Rover added that customers are looking forward to Land Rover's first all-electric model, and content related to the new car has received more than 186 million views on social media.
Orders for the all-electric Range Rover opened last December. Officials called it “the quietest and most refined Range Rover ever.” The car will have «excellent performance» on roads with low grip and off-road.
The electric Range Rover features a new traction control system that improves handling on slippery roads. The car allows you to ford a depth of 850 mm, which is more than the electric Hummer (812.8 mm) and Toyota Land Cruiser (698.5 mm).
The electric version of the Range Rover is scheduled to be released later this year.
