But it won’t be released soon
Nvidia may return to the portable gaming market by releasing a new gaming console.
The company is reportedly already working on some kind of portable gaming device, and a premium one at that. What exactly this means is unclear, but it could hint at a high price tag. Apparently, the project is still at an early stage, as Nvidia is allegedly looking for a partner to create it.
Apparently, we are talking about a Windows console, which means that Nvidia will need an x86-compatible processor, and it will have to cooperate with Intel or AMD. Nvidia itself will apparently focus primarily on the graphics processor, although it is quite possible that it will simply use one of the consoles available at the time of creation without any significant changes.
Recall that Nvidia has already released gaming products as part of the Shield line, including the Shield Portable portable console.
