The resolution of the main sensor of the main camera will correspond to the resolution of the front camera sensor
MSPowerUser reported an interesting detail about the Samsung Galaxy M55 smartphone: according to the source, the front camera of the model will have a 50-megapixel sensor. Such a high resolution sensor is not found in the front cameras of other Samsung smartphones, even flagships.
The main camera of the model will have three sensors — with a resolution of 50 (with OIS), 8 (as part of a module with an ultra-wide-angle lens) and 2 (for macro shooting) megapixels. Samsung Galaxy M55 will receive Nightography mode and support for shooting from two cameras at once.
According to MSPowerUser, the smartphone will have an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The fingerprint scanner will be in-display. The hardware platform will be based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, maximum memory capacity — 12 and 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy M55 will receive Android 14 with the One UI 6.X interface (it is not yet clear whether there will be One UI 6.0, or the smartphone will debut with One UI 6.1) and five Android updates in the future.
Among other equipment — Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, NFC chip. The smartphone will go on sale in at least two colors — green and blue.
