Take-Two Interactive's latest financial reports provide information on game sales and overall performance. The Grand Theft Auto series continues to grow, having earned $189 million at the end of 2023, selling 5 million copies of GTA V in the quarter.
According to Take-Two's latest earnings report, Grand Theft Auto products accounted for 15.2% of total net revenue for the 9 months. Q3 FY24 revenue was approximately $189.59 million, roughly the same as last year's $191.2 million.
October to December 2023 Grand Theft Auto arrived on two major services: PlayStation Plus, and the complete remaster of the GTA trilogy has become available to Netflix subscribers.
Take-Two also reports that Rockstar Games has shipped 5 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V to retailers, bringing the total lifetime shipments of GTA V to 195 million. The GTA franchise has sold over 420 million copies to date. Since the release of Grand Theft Auto V in September 2013, the Grand Theft Auto series has generated $8.93 billion in revenue, according to Take-Two Interactive. This figure includes sales of GTA V on three generations of consoles and PC, in-game spending in Grand Theft Auto Online and the latest collection of remasters Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
