It was noticeably reduced in length
Mcallen Motorcars introduced a unique Ford F-150 Raptor R crew cab, which turned out to be even shorter than the pickup truck from PaxPower released last year.
The front fascia is largely identical to the standard pickup, but that's the only thing that remains the same. The dealership removed the two rear doors and shortened the wheelbase by over 300mm. A key difference from the PaxPower crew cab model is that Mcallen Motorcars has extended the platform in front of the rear wheels.
This short wheelbase Ford F-150 Raptor R is still a work in progress. PaxPower's creation weighs a staggering 771 kg less than the standard F-150 Raptor R, and the new, even shorter truck will weigh even less.
The standard 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, borrowed from the Mustang Shelby GT500, produces 700 hp. and 868 Nm of torque. The base car can accelerate to 96 km/h in a claimed 3.6 seconds.
