Iranian automaker Saipa has begun pilot production of the Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 sedan. This new car is an improved version of the first generation Renault Logan, known to Russians, which became popular in taxis due to its reliability and unpretentiousness.
Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 differs from the original Renault Logan by unique optics at the front and rear, as well as a modified bumper design. Inside there is a more modern dashboard and a multimedia system with a touch screen.
The characteristics of the car are already known. The car is equipped with a 1.6-liter 16-valve naturally aspirated ME16 engine producing 115 hp. and 147 N·m of torque paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 will include dual front airbags, ESC, ABS, EBD, BAS, LED daytime running lights, light sensor, tire pressure monitoring system, alloy wheels, rear view camera , air conditioning, cruise control and other options.
It was previously announced that Saipa plans to supply various types of cars to Russia through Belarus together with the local company «Lucky Carenc».
