The 16th generation sedan was released in China
The FAW Toyota joint venture today officially launched the 16th generation Toyota Crown sedan in China. This is a large premium car that can challenge the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Audi A6.
The new Toyota Crown is offered in two trim levels — Premium for $41.4K and Supreme for $48.3K. Basic version — A 220-horsepower hybrid based on a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (the power plant uses an e-CVT variator), a top-end — 347-horsepower based on a 2.4-liter turbo engine (with a 6-speed automatic). Maximum declared consumption — 6.21 l/100 km.
Dimensions of the machine 5030 × 1890 × 1470 mm, wheelbase — 3000 mm. Already included in the database are adaptive suspension, active driver assistance systems Toyota Pilot, active noise reduction system.
