Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has surpassed 2 million copies in total sales.
Originally Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was released on Switch and personal computers on Steam on July 9, 2021, and on June 14, the version for PlayStation 4 was released.
In March 2024, sales of Wings of Ruin were 1. 9 million copies.
