Lu Weibing, President of the International Department of Xiaomi Group, officially announced that Redmi K70 won the «Flagship Mobile Phone of the Year» at the Weibo Mobile Phone Awards 2023. The winner was determined through an open vote in which representatives of 100 well-known media took part.
Recall that the Redmi K70 uses a 6.67-inch flat OLED screen with 2K resolution, industry-leading local peak brightness of 4000 cd/m2 and support for PWM at 3840 Hz.
Compared with the previous generation K60, the battery capacity of the Redmi K70 has been reduced and the fast charging speed has been increased. The Redmi K60 used a 5500 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging. For Redmi K70, the manufacturer chose 120 W and 5000 mA·h. A full charge takes only 18 minutes and the case is approximately 8.2mm thick.
The main camera of the Redmi K70 has the same sensor, Light and Shadow Hunter 800, that is used in the Redmi K70 Pro. The main module is borrowed entirely from the Redmi K70 Pro — with F/1.6 lens and OIS.
