The announcement will take place on March 15

Czech automaker Skoda continues to intrigue the public ahead of the full premiere of its new entry-level electric crossover. After the first teasers of the exterior, the company published the first image of the interior of the new product.

The interior of the electric car is designed in a minimalist style using digital screens. Instead of a traditional dashboard, there is a compact display behind the steering wheel, and in the center of the dashboard there is a large touchscreen for the multimedia system. There are only eight physical keys left, they are grouped under the air deflectors.

A bright detail of the interior was the contour red lighting. The buttons on the steering wheel, which are made in a physical version rather than a touch one, are also illuminated in red. The Skoda logo on the steering wheel has given way to a full inscription with the brand name.

According to insider information, the production version of the new product may be called Elroq and will become a more affordable electric alternative to the popular Karoq crossover.

Skoda plans to completely declassify the budget electric car tomorrow, March 15. However, only a pre-production prototype will probably be shown at the presentation. Also on this day, the company will announce financial results for 2023 and announce plans for further development.
