Publisher Versus Evil, founded in 2013 by former Zenimax Online Studios marketing director Steve Escalante, has announced its closure.
As company producer Lance James said, the decision did not depend on the Versus Evil team, but did not go into details.
Versus Evil managed to release The Banner Saga trilogy from the Stoic studio, developed by Obsidian Entertainment Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, as well as many other games. For 2024, the publisher planned releases of the adventure game Lil' Guardsman, the action game Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients and the role-playing adventure Broken Roads.
