The cessation of supplies and sales was announced almost two years ago

The Czech company Avast, known for its Avast and AVG programs, has completely left the Russian market. It is worth noting that back in March 2022, the company announced the cessation of supplies and sales of all products in Russia and Belarus.

Since the end of January, users began to report that Avast mobile applications and antiviruses for PCs, including Avast Mobile Security for Android and Avast Free Antivirus, stopped working in Russia. Users receive messages: «Sorry, this product is not supported in your current location» or «Sorry, this app is not currently supported in your country or region».

When installing AVG AntiVirus FREE and AVG AntiVirus FREE for Android and other AVG applications, the same messages appear.
