Lu Weibing previously conducted a short survey about smartphones with folding screens. Among users who took part in the voting, up to 20% are considering choosing a small clamshell smartphone.
Lu Weibing said that small folding mobile phones used to be called “beautiful junk,” meaning they looked good, but were awkward to use.
The company leader said that the new product will offer excellent battery life, high-quality photos, and the crease on the screen will be almost invisible.
According to rumors, it will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, a 4900 mAh battery, 67-watt charging and a Leica camera with a 50 MP main module.
