Tank 300 with V6 engine finally becomes a production model
The Chinese Ministry of Industry has certified a new version of the Tank 300 SUV – its peculiarity is the use of a 3.0 liter V-shaped 6-cylinder petrol engine with a turbocharger. The power unit produces 360 hp. This frame Tank 300 will allow you to move very quickly off-road.
It’s interesting that with the new engine, the Tank 300 has become even more off-road: a new power bumper has appeared, which will increase the approach angle, and a trunk has appeared on the roof (it ends with a spoiler at the rear). The arches are wider than the regular Tank 300, the wheels – 265/70 R18. There are linings on the sides of the hood, but it is unclear whether they actually serve for additional ventilation or are just a sham.
Recall that last year Tank 300 launched a collective funding program to launch this model with a V6 engine into series, and the funds were raised very quickly. This is not surprising, since Tank 300 has a large army of fans in China. Certification from the Ministry of Industry is actually a permit for mass production. So soon the car will be officially presented and, after a month or two, will go on sale. Will Tank 300 officially appear in Russia – It's hard to say yet. But earlier, the head of the Russian office of the Tank brand, Alexander Chekhovsky, announced the appearance in Russia in 2024 of new versions of the Tank 300 and Tank 500.
