Acemagic has fully unveiled the M2A Starship mini gaming PC, which it calls the world's first AAA sci-fi gaming mini PC.
It turned out that it is much more powerful than one might think. In particular, the GeForce RTX 3080 Mobile video card is installed here. Yes, this is not the RTX 40 line, but the performance is still very decent. There are also cheaper modifications with RTX 3060 Mobile and RTX 3070 Mobile.
It's the same story with processors: not the newest, but still excellent. There is a choice of configurations with Core i7-12700H and Core i9-12900H. The configuration also includes 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.
Of the rest, we can highlight Wi-Fi 6, a display on the case, four fans and a very decent set of ports: USB4 (x3), USB 3.2 Gen 1 (x3), USB 3.2 Gen 2 (x3), HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, a pair of RJ45 2.5GbE and a headphone jack.
Dimensions are not indicated on the website. From the images you can see that the PC is not the smallest, but still very compact. Especially considering the characteristics.
As for prices, the new product starts at $909 taking into account the current discount, and the top version will cost $1600 with the same discount.
