The third launch had to be postponed
SpaceX today could launch three Falcon 9 rockets within 24 hours. To be more precise, within a few hours!
The first two launches have already taken place. At 21:52 GMT, a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Eutelsat 36D telecommunications satellite lifted off from Kennedy Space Center. About an hour and a half later, another Falcon 9 with Starlink satellites took off from Cape Canaveral. Initially, SpaceX planned to launch another rocket with the same satellites, and in the end it would have turned out that three launches would have been completed in five hours! Unfortunately, however, the company announced that the third launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California was delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
In any case, two launches less than two hours apart — This is already a very significant achievement.
