Larian boss has a message for those making Baldur's Gate 4: “They need to come up with something of their own”

While Larian Studios will not be responsible for Baldur's Gate 4, it is known that a new entry in the series will be in development. Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast have said they are in the process of finding a team to take on this daunting task.

Larian boss Sven Vincke was interviewed during the Digital Dragons conference in Warsaw. He gave advice and recommendations to future developers of Baldur's Gate 4.

“It will be up to them. I mean, they have to come up with something of their own, right? I'm not going to make it difficult for them, I don't want them to have to take my advice. So I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it. Honestly, there are a lot of things that can be done. So there are a lot of opportunities waiting for them.”

The head of Larian seems to understand that each team can have its own vision, so he prefers to leave everything is at the discretion of future developers. But this does not change the fact that many players will probably look at Baldur's Gate 4 through the prism of the hit third part.
