These characteristics are the key difference from the Jaecoo J8
We have already written that Chery Tiggo 9 in Russia will receive a different design, not the same as the Jaecoo J8. And now technical details have arrived, and they are even more important: if the Jaecoo J8 is presented in Russia with a conventional 2.0-liter gasoline engine, then the Chery Tiggo 9 will have a hybrid power plant. Visual differences, complemented by technical ones, will further distance these two models.
Tiggo 9 will be a plug-in hybrid. The power plant will include a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with 238 hp, an electric motor with 224 hp, and a three-speed 3DHT transmission. The car will consume only 5.2 l/100 km, and the power reserve will reach 1400 km.
The release of Chery Tiggo 9 on the Russian market is planned for the third quarter of this year.
