During Sony's State of Play presentation, Dynasty Warriors: Origins from Omega Force: Origins was announced. Judging by the gameplay trailer, this is a return to the series' traditional hack'n'slash gameplay after the open world of Dynasty Warriors 9.
Producer and studio head Tomohiko Sho confirmed this on the PlayStation Blog, promising “the biggest armies the series has ever seen.” The team is “making the most of” the PS5's specs (the press release said PC and Xbox Series X/S versions will be available), which means “vast armies as far as the eye can see.”
You can fight one against a thousand, as in previous games, but you also need to coordinate your actions with your allies. Sho confirmed that the “nameless hero” who serves as the protagonist will be the first original hero in the franchise. He will travel to the chaotic era of the Three Kingdoms and leave his mark. In addition, there are famous generals and soldiers to look forward to.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins will be released in 2025, and Omega Force promises more details about the new protagonist in the coming months.< /p>
