It is not yet known when the more powerful Asus ROG Ally receiver will be released. It looks like this will happen at the end of 2024.
Little is known about the device, but details about its specifications have leaked online. The information is unofficial, but published by a reliable source.
Judging by information from the VideoCardz portal, ROG Ally X will be similar to the original model in several respects, with the same APU Ryzen Z1 Extreme with 8 Zen4 cores and 12 RDNA3 CU processors, as well as the same 7-inch 1080p screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Notable upgrades to the device will include an 80Whr battery, double the size of the original device, and a significant leap forward with 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
New Device supposedly equipped with a second USB-C port, will be approximately 70 grams heavier than the original model and approximately 4.5 mm thicker.
At what price the device will be sold and when the details will be officially presented is still unknown.
