According to the head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky, the company — resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) «Technopolis Moscow» developed and launched into production a motherboard with support for domestic processors. For its own needs alone, the company plans to produce about 30 thousand copies of the new product in 2024.
The company «Nex-T», known on the market under the NexTouch brand, produces up to four thousand units of various devices per month, including touch panels, tables, LCD displays and other interactive equipment — in total more than 45 species. In 18 months, the company's engineers created a universal motherboard that can be used in displays, touch panels, desktop all-in-one computers, and televisions. It was immediately designed for domestic processors «Elvis» and «Baikal» with appropriate circuitry, which ensures the independence of Russian hardware, noted Ovchinsky.
Now the production of such boards has been launched in Zelenograd. In 2024, at the site «Pechatniki» in the SEZ «Technopolis Moscow» the company plans to produce motherboards in large volumes: about 30 thousand units per year. First of all, the company plans to cover its own needs for finished products and new products planned for next year.
