The hardcore BAIC BJ212 SUV was photographed in China without camouflage, and the photo shows both the front and rear, and even the interior. The car completely distanced itself from the legendary BAW BJ212 SUV, the first generation of which was created using GAZ-69 and UAZ-469 units.

BAIC 212 (BAW gained independence from BAIC in 2022) has a completely new platform and modern units: a Mitsubishi 4K31 turbo engine (the same, by the way, is used in the Oting «Paladin&raquo SUV ;, sales of which have just begun in Russia), 8-speed «automatic» and part-time all-wheel drive. The interior with a large media system screen and a small gearshift lever is designed in accordance with modern trends.

The premiere date of BAIC BJ212 has not been announced, but the debut may take place at the Beijing Auto Show at the end of April.
