This will become possible with the start of serial production of e-Largus

The Russian automobile plant AvtoVAZ is going to produce 50 thousand cars a year at its facilities in Izhevsk, said the head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov during a report on the situation in the region. According to him, this year mass production of Lada Largus electric vehicles will be launched and the car plant will reach production volumes of up to 50 thousand cars per year.

In addition, the number of employees at the production site should double in 2024 – up to 3 thousand people. This is exactly how many people worked at the Izhevsk plant in 2017, but after the Lada Vesta production was moved to Tolyatti, the number of employees was reduced to 800 people. Then, after the launch of Lada Largus production, the number of employees reached 1.5 thousand, and in May of this year the number of personnel should again increase to 3 thousand people, Brechalov noted.
