24 200 dollars
Suzuki continues to look for ways to drum up interest in its iconic small SUV, the Suzuki Jimny. The company released a larger five-door version in 2023, and is now releasing it in a special edition.
A larger version called the Jimny XL in Australia received the Heritage version, which received a body with retro stripes. Australian buyers can purchase the car in Blueish Black Pearl, Jungle Green, Granite Grey, White and Ivory colours. The latter is combined with a contrasting black roof.
The updated Jimny received front and rear red mudguards. It follows the look of the three-door Jimny Heritage launched last year. It sold out in just two days, so Suzuki encourages those interested to act quickly. The previous special edition was limited to 300 units, and the five-door model will be limited to 500 units.
The powertrain uses a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission and low-range all-wheel drive. The engine is characterized by 101 hp. and 96 Nm of torque.
Jimny XL Heritage has a nine-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, hill descent control, automatic LED headlights and rear parking sensors.
Suzuki wants about $24,200 for this special edition at current exchange rates.
