Need more tests
After tests in AndSPECmod, which showed that the SoC Kirin 9010 uses old processor cores with poor energy efficiency, tests in more familiar benchmarks appeared on the Internet.
The situation here is better, but not in everything. Geekbench shows only a slight increase relative to the Kirin 9000s, which casts doubt on the presence of a 12-core CPU on the new platform. Perhaps this is a software definition error, since initially the Kirin 9000s was also said to have 12 processor cores.
As for the GPU, in 3Dmark Wild Life Extreme the new Huawei products score about 1580 points versus about 1400 for the Mate 60 based on the Kirin 9000s. That is, there is an increase, but not particularly significant.
At the same time, in AnTuTu, the Pura70 models on the new platform somehow manage to score 950,000 points, while the Kirin 9000s shows a result of only about 700,000 points. What caused this increase is completely unclear, given the performance of the CPU and GPU.
