The car will be released outside of China
The Leapmotor C10 five-passenger SUV is unveiled, available in hybrid (EREV) and electric vehicle (BEV) versions, starting at $17,900. The car will go on sale outside China in the third quarter.
Six body colors are available for consumers to choose from: grey, black, dark grey, blue, white and jade. Leapmotor C10 is built on Leap 3.0 architecture and has dimensions of 4739 x 1900 x 1680 mm and a wheelbase of 2825 mm.
The car features a panoramic sunroof, 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, hidden door handles, roof-mounted lidar, pass-through light clusters and a rear spoiler. The Leapmotor C10 features an advanced Level 3 driving assistance system called Leapmotor Pilot with 25 functions implemented using 30 sensors, including five millimeter wave radars, 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, one lidar and an Nvidia Orin-X chip.
The EREV powertrain comes standard with a permanent magnet rear synchronous motor producing 170kW and 320Nm of torque, a 70kW 1.5-litre H15R engine and a 28.4kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, giving an electric range of 210 km (CLTC) and a total range of 1190 km. The maximum speed is 170 km/h, and the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.68 seconds. Charging from 30% to 80% takes about 30 minutes.
The BEV series is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a power of 170 kW and a torque of 320 Nm, providing a top speed of 170 km/h and an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h of 7.29 seconds. The power reserve can reach from 410 to 530 km.
The car is equipped with a 10.25-inch instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central control screen. The operating system is based on Leapmotor OS and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295.
The front seat can be folded down to create a large sofa almost 1.8 m long. With the front and rear seats folded, a bed is over 2.7 m long.
