A batch of 120 new Lada X-Cross 5 crossovers was delivered from St. Petersburg to a dealer in Togliatti, as reported by the insider public Avtograd News on the social network «VKontakte».
About 120 Lada X – Cross 5 cars (based on FAW Bestune T 77) were delivered from the plant in St. Petersburg to the site of one of the Lada dealers in Tolyatti. Apparently this is the entire circulation that was assembled using the SKD method; now crossovers are being assembled on an assembly line in the city on the Neva in collaboration with another manufacturer from the Middle Kingdom. Delivered cars are now undergoing pre-sale preparation and summer tires are replaced with winter ones. Apparently the cars will be used in corporate fleets as company cars.
Previously it was reported that by the end of 2023 it is planned to produce 10 thousand cars in St. Petersburg, but for now only Lada X-Cross 5 is assembled there.
