Smart recognition does not require cloud connection
Xiaomi has given fans its latest home security offering — Xiaomi Smart Camera C700. This flagship camera boasts 4K support and smart image processing without a cloud connection.
Xiaomi Smart Camera C700 — This is the first Xiaomi camera designed for indoor use, equipped with an 8 MP sensor. It supports 4K HDR video at 3840 x 2160 resolution and features a professional-grade lens with five large aperture optical lenses.
The camera is equipped with a pan/tilt function, which allows it to monitor a large area. Ten 940nm infrared LEDs provide clear images at night up to 10 meters away.
Xiaomi Smart Camera C700's local AI capabilities support multiple functions such as baby crying detection, dynamic pet tracking, people detection, broken glass detection and so on. These functions are processed locally, without the need to store data in the cloud.
The camera easily integrates with other Xiaomi smart home devices via Xiaomi HyperOS Connect. MicroSD cards (up to 256 GB) and network NAS drives are supported. The camera received a Wi-Fi 6.
