Luxeed S7 turned out to be more expensive than Xiaomi SU7
Yesterday in China, Huawei officially revealed the price of the Luxeed S7 sedan, created in collaboration with Chery (the car is built on the Chery E0X platform, which also underlies the Exlantix models). The price of the basic version — 250 thousand yuan (approximately 3.2 million rubles or 34.5 thousand dollars), for the top version they ask for 350 thousand yuan (4.5 million rubles or 48 thousand dollars).
With its design, the Luxeed S7 is a bit reminiscent of the flagship Aito M9 SUV. Dimensions of the car — 4971 x 1963 x 1474 mm, wheelbase — 2950 mm. The Luxeed S7 has one electric motor with a power of 292 hp. and rear-wheel drive, top version — all-wheel drive, with two engines with a total power of 496 hp. The top version accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.3 s.
Traction batteries — three, the capacity is 62, 82 and 100 kW⋅h, and the range, respectively, is from 550 to 855 km on a single charge. At the same time, fast charging is supported — in 5 minutes you can replenish the battery capacity for 215 km of travel.
In China Luxeed S7 will compete in China primarily with Xiaomi SU7, and here the Xiaomi electric sedan has advantages both in terms of power and in terms of prices. However, if Chery ensures uninterrupted production of the car and in sufficient volumes, then Luxeed can lure away those potential buyers Xiaomi SU7 who do not want to wait a year and a half for the car.
