Ultrastar Transporter consumes 1.3 kW
Western Digital introduced the Ultrastar Transporter drive, which has a capacity of 368 TB. The device is made in the form factor… suitcase. A carrying handle is required here, since the weight reaches 15 kg (this is — with a carrying case, and the mass of the drive itself is — 13 kg)!
Western Digital notes that the Ultrastar Transporter can be used to store all of a crew's data (for example, when filming on location). This is just one of the possible scenarios for using the device.
Ultrastar Transporter connects to the network via two QSFP112 ports (speed — 200 Gbit/s). Also «storage suitcase» supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface via RJ-45 port.
