After Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown received acclaim from reviewers and players, it looks like Ubisoft is preparing to take the next step for the franchise.
Journalist Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming recently reported that the company is collaborating with developer Dead Cells to develop a roguelike Prince of Persia title that will release in Early Access on Steam in 2024.
Henderson added to his original message that the game will be presented on April 10 at the Triple-i Initiative. Triple-i Initiative is an indie show organized by Evil Empire, which will also feature famous indie studios.
After the announcement, the game is expected to be released soon. Henderson says the game is set to launch on Steam Early Access on May 14, 2024. How long the game will be in early access and how soon it will appear on other platforms is still unknown.
