Sales will begin at the end of the month
The BYD Qin L DM-i sedan began arriving at dealers ahead of the start of sales, which is scheduled for May 29 in China. The car, priced from $16,600, features a fifth-generation DM-i hybrid system.
The manufacturer claims that the BYD Qin L DM-i will mark a significant breakthrough in terms of fuel consumption and range. According to official data, the fifth generation DM-i hybrid system allows you to consume only 2.9 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. The range is expected to reach 2,000 kilometers. The electric range will be up to 90 km.
The hybrid system consists of a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor. The engine capacity is 1498 ml, maximum power — 74 kW. The vehicle is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery.
BYD Qin L DM-i is equipped with a DiLink intelligent cockpit, 15.6-inch rotating screen, NFC digital key function. Intelligent Driving Assistance offers adaptive cruise control, emergency lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring.
