GigaChat Lite is suitable for solving simpler problems
The Sberbank team has opened the GigaChat API for companies and developers to access two models of the proprietary generative neural network — GigaChat Lite and GigaChat Pro.
As noted in the press service, GigaChat Lite is suitable for solving more trivial problems that require maximum speed of the model, at the same time, the service is less demanding on hardware. < /p>
GigaChat Pro follows complex instructions better and can perform more complex tasks: the quality of summarizing, rewriting and editing texts, and answering various questions has significantly improved. What is especially important for business: the model is perfectly oriented in many application domains — in particular, in economic and legal matters.
To simplify and speed up working with models, GigaChain (SDK) — an adapted version of the LangChain library for the Russian language with support for the GigaChat API, which will allow developers to create their own advanced AI applications using Sber technologies. The library standardizes typical cases of using various language models, such as working with chains, knowledge bases and documents; and also contains a set of ready-made queries (prompts) for solving business problems.
GigaChat Pro is available to everyone — both corporate clients and independent developers. For corporate clients, until the end of January, GigaChat Pro is available at the cost of the Lite version — 20 kopecks for 1000 tokens. Independent developers have the opportunity to try GigaChat Pro in freemium mode.
