Xiaomi has published an official teaser with the premiere date of its newest flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra. An important event will take place in China on February 22. Interestingly, the global premiere of Xiaomi 14 Ultra could take place just three days after the Chinese one: according to rumors, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will debut in Europe on February 25.
The motto of the event, which will be held by the new Xiaomi brand manager in China, — «A complete ecosystem for people, cars and homes». Rumors are circulating in the Chinese media that the company’s first car may be fully presented as part of the event – Xiaomi SU7, with all characteristics and prices.
According to preliminary data, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.73 inches, a frame rate of 120 Hz, a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and a peak brightness of 3000 cd/sq.m.
The smartphone's hardware platform will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. RAM volumes – 12-16 GB, flash memory – 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.
The emphasis in this model will be on the Leica camera: it will include four 50-megapixel sensors, including the top-end inch Sony LYT900. Two modules will be responsible for optical zoom 3.2x and 5x.
The battery capacity will be 5300 mAh, it will support wired charging with a power of 90 W and wireless charging with a power of 50 W. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will receive protection against dust and water in accordance with the IP68 degree. The weight of the device will be 220 grams, the thickness of the case (excluding the camera protrusion) – 9.2 mm.
