The program with the beautiful name “Katerina” was created as an opportunity to call a mobile group response in dangerous situations
“We are sick and tired of idiots who are unable to restrain themselves, become aggressive, or let their hands go wild. That's why we created “Katerina”. This is a subscription to an application that, at the touch of a button, calls one of 1,500 mobile response teams when you sense danger. “Katerina” is always on your side. We will provide you with physical protection or take you to a safe place,” the official website notes.
What kind of service?
“Katerina” is a service that operates on the basis of the security service “Yavir-2000” (a company that has been working with alarms and video surveillance systems for 30 years, guarding stationary objects, escorting cargo, providing collection services etc.).
The specialists who will be part of the mobile groups have physical intervention skills, psychological training, fast cars, equipment – and, if necessary, can use a gas spray, a rubber baton, a traumatic weapon, or simply take them to a safe place.
How and where it works?
“Katerina” works in almost all regions of the country (except for Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson regions and temporarily occupied Crimea), however, the largest number of duty groups (282) work in the Kiev region.
If necessary, through the “Katerina” application, you can also call a security guard to accompany a child, or a specialist who will provide first aid to the elderly.
Cost
Currently three tariff plans are available in the application:

- “Kolizhanka” – one call, 199 UAH per month
- “Kuma” – three calls, 299 UAH per month
- “Sister” – ten calls, 799 UAH per month
For an additional fee (50 UAH per month for each device), you can add a child or elderly relatives to your subscription. If all calls according to the tariff are used, you can order an additional visit – however, it will cost 350 UAH.
