Operator explains problems with stabilization work
Ukrainian cellular operator «Kievstar» experiencing outages again. Some users report that the proprietary application does not work, they cannot access the site, there is no connection.

The press service of the cellular operator reported a failure in the west and south of Ukraine: «Dear subscribers, we know that difficulties are now arising in a number of cities in the west and south of Ukraine. Company specialists are working to update services. We are doing our best to resolve technical problems as soon as possible».
Later, the operator explained these problems with stabilization work: «Our network is now being stabilized after a large-scale hacker attack, so there may still be short-term difficulties in the operation of services».
We remind you that on December 12, the «Kievstar» network collapsed due to a powerful hacker attack. Users could not make calls, the mobile application and website did not work, and some lost their bonuses. When replenishing the balance, money was debited from clients, but was not credited to their accounts.
Then Russian hackers from the group «Solntsepek» took responsibility for the attack.
