A passenger car with a double bed inside was presented by GAC at the Beijing Auto Show. This car was a new version of the mid-size electric sedan Aion S Max.
GAC marketers are positioning the Aion S Max as a car for couples without their own home. Comfortable chairs fold into a flat floor; it’s convenient to place some food on the central tunnel and admire the stars through the large panoramic roof.
Aion S Max is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 204 hp. You can choose a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 59.5 kW·h or a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 67.9 kW·h. The power reserve is 510 and 610 km, respectively.
The older version received a 245 hp engine, while acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.7 seconds. The younger speaker is worse, its time is 7.5 s.
It was previously reported that GAC, which is called the «Chinese Toyota», speaks with caution about the possibility of a plant appearing in Russia to produce the corresponding cars.
