The project will begin to be implemented with employees of the transport complex in the first quarter, then passengers will be invited

Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maxim Liksutov said that testing of biometric fare payment on Moscow Central Diameter (MCD) trains will begin in the first quarter of 2024. For this purpose, special equipment has already been installed at the turnstiles of Nakhabino, Zelenograd-Kryukovo, Likhobory and Ploshchad treh vokzal stations.

Employees of the Moscow Transport Complex will take part in the first stage of testing, and then passengers will be invited to participate. Thus, the Moscow Department of Transport will be able to carefully check and launch the Russian fare payment service at the “usual high level,” as Liksutov noted, and passengers will be able to transfer conveniently and quickly in a single transport space.
