Billionaire Elon Musk said that Tesla car owners will be able to turn their cars into robotaxis after the launch of the service and the release of the corresponding update.

Monetizing an autonomous vehicle fleet is similar to Airbnb and Uber. Tesla will own some cars, but customers will be able to add their cars to the fleet by clicking on the Tesla app and earn money whenever they want.
