The release of the game in early access was supposed to take place a week ago, but the project was first postponed indefinitely, and now completely canceled
After several postponements, Paradox finally decided to finally cancel the life simulator Life by You, which the project’s authors positioned as a “Sims killer.”
The developers note that that they could not live up to both their own expectations and the hopes of the community, and the decision to cancel the game was made with great difficulty.
“In the end After all, our job is to make games that are fun, interesting, and challenging, and every decision we make should be made with that in mind. When we do it right, we earn our bread. So how can we ensure that this doesn’t happen again? Honestly, there are no real guarantees.” says Matthias Lilja, Deputy CEO of Paradox Interactive.
