It won't be released until 2026
Chrysler CEO Christine Fewell has confirmed that the Pacifica will be updated soon. She went on to mention, «This will be more than just a moderate update. The update will be very important».
Christine Fewell declined to say when the new product will go on sale, but said it will come after Chrysler's first electric car. So the updated family car is unlikely to arrive before 2026, given that the electric model is due in 2025. Until the electric car arrives, Chrysler will be a «one-product brand» per year, according to Fewell.
In the US, the 2024 Pacifica starts at $39,090, or $53,425 if you choose the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid. The most expensive of all — electrified version in Pinnacle configuration starting at $62,155. In Canada, the Grand Caravan starts at C$51,760, which is $38,719 at current exchange rates.
Despite the fact that the Pacifica is already outdated, the model is popular. US deliveries reached 112,198 units. That means Chrysler has a good chance of surpassing the record set in 2019, when sales peaked at 118,322 minivans. The minivan also remains popular in Canada, where 6,307 vehicles were delivered from January to September. The best year for the model was 2022, when 7692 people bought it.
