The SberBank team will soon significantly expand the capabilities of the proprietary generative neural network GigaChat. Sber's artificial intelligence GigaChat will be the first public large language model that will be specially trained to understand and speak Uzbek and Arabic. This was announced by the Senior Vice President, Head of the «Technological Development» Sberbank Andrey Belevtsev at the XXVII St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

Sber will teach GigaChat to understand Arabic and Uzbek languages. By the end of the year, we plan to update our service, which will understand requests in Uzbek and Arabic. GigaChat will be the first public large language model specifically trained to understand and speak Uzbek and Arabic. Currently, the service is used by more than five million unique users. And the total number of requests to the service has already exceeded 90 million.
