Sales are expected to start closer to the Christmas sales season
Microsoft presented several new variations of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S game consoles at the Xbox Games Showcase event.
Among the new products – white Xbox Series X, information about which and photos from the production line appeared online in early 2024.
Unlike the original console, the white version of the Xbox Series X is a purely digital model without an optical drive. The set-top box is equipped with an SSD with 1 TB of disk space and will cost $450, which is $50 less than the original model.
Microsoft also announced the Xbox Series X with a 2 TB SSD in a new Galaxy Black Special Edition color with a green speckle effect and a matching Xbox Wireless Controller. This set-top box will be available in limited quantities for $600.
Finally, the new Xbox Series S in white 1TB for $350 has been revealed. It will gradually completely replace the existing black 1TB Xbox Series X, which will be sold until supplies run out.
