Some players believe Bethesda is wasting its time with pointless Starfield updates

Bethesda recently announced the release of the next Starfield update, which will appear on Steam next week. But some users expressed disappointment with the content of the update, accusing the company of wasting their time.

According to a group of users, Bethesda is focusing on “useless” and “insignificant” innovations and not paying attention to much more necessary and important content to improve the game.

According to the community, adding the ability to use expressions on the character model in photo mode or various improvements to the scanner (can now be used when collecting resources or opening doors) are unimportant innovations.

Users on Reddit explain that they would prefer Bethesda to focus on more important improvements rather than a series of small things designed to make the game more enjoyable.

“What baffles me is wasting time on things like improving the photo mode …I'd rather they expand outpost building options, change the way random encounters are generated for more variety, or do anything else that would improve gameplay.”

User elfinko shared a similar comment:

“Updates like this are a little annoying because there seem to be a lot of problems that could be fixed to improve the game. For example, seller loans. How difficult it can be? Five months to fix simple, trivial errors is insane.”
