by alex

Earlier, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reported that Embracer Group had curtailed development of a new game in the famous Deus Ex series.

Eidos Montreal experienced a wave of layoffs, affecting 97 studio employees. All as part of the Embracer Group's restructuring plan, dictated by the “global economic context“.

The studio assured that will do everything possible to support employees making this “transition”.

Under “transition” studio management means the transition of employees from employed to unemployed status in the labor market.

Eidos Montreal also noted that it will continue to create games that people can enjoy in the future.
