DICE and EA are asking players to help Battlefield 2042 win the Favorite Child category at the Steam Awards by voting for the shooter.
“This game is no longer new. The time is far behind when its developers first showed their creation to the world. Like real loving parents, they do not stop raising and supporting their child, adding something new to the game to this day,” reads the nomination description.
At the same time, the developers did not explain why the game deserves victory in this category, as did, for example, the authors of Deep Rock Galactic, The Long Dark or No Man's Sky.
