Intel has given the go-ahead to a number of partners to release finished PCs with a Core i9-14900KS processor with the cover removed. 

«Naked» The CPU is easier to cool and maintains higher frequencies more stable. In addition, this can have a positive effect when overclocking.  

The first manufacturer to offer such PCs was Maingear. It is important to say that a scalped CPU does not void the warranty if you buy such a PC from Maingear. True, for a processor without a cover you will have to pay an extra $200, which is a lot, considering the already high cost of Intel’s new product.
