Mac Walters and his studio Worlds Untold are working on a game set in the not-too-distant future.

Mac Walters, who once worked as a screenwriter for the Mass Effect trilogy, has announced the opening of the Worlds Untold studio, which is already actively working on a project for a completely new intellectual property.

Walters and his team's game will take place in the not-too-distant future, and the player will have to step where no one has gone before and explore the unexplored.

In a conversation with Eurogamer, Walters admitted that creating a completely new project from scratch is always extremely difficult, and also promised not to lead his upcoming game into a dead end.

“As someone who has worked on creating new intellectual property in the past, I recognize the challenges that come with it, but also the opportunities of creating worlds from the ground up. In short, we put a lot of effort and attention into creating the world, then writing the characters, and finally working on the story and gameplay.

By deliberately preserving the principles of intellectual property, we leave room for its development in the future, and do not drive ourselves into a dead end.”
