Former Audi chief exterior designer Josef Kaban created a classic supercar

SAIC announced that world-renowned automotive designer, creator of the Bugatti Veyron supercar and former chief exterior designer of Audi, who has worked at Skoda, BMW, Rolls-Royce, Josef Kaban, has officially joined SAIC as Vice President of Global Design Center of the SAIC Institute for Innovation Research and Development. He will oversee the design of the brand's models.

Josef Kaban graduated from the Royal College of Art in London, England in 1997 with a degree in vehicle design, and then joined the German Volkswagen group. At the age of 25, he participated in the Bugatti Veyron supercar project, he designed the exterior and interior of the Veyron, which created a sensation in the global automotive industry. He is considered a «genius of automotive design of the early 21st century».
